Power & Light

In case you missed tonight's sunset (and it was gorgeous) here it is. Unfortunately when it set I didn't have an unobstructed view of the horizon, but it was pretty none-the-less.

Thanks for the memories - I recall seeing a number of sunsets like this when I worked at Guadalupe Mountains National Park in West Texas. Great image even with the power lines- adds depth.

When I was a young man I had a service station and two of my customers were a man and wife photography team who specialized in sunrises and sunsets.

They told me they had been all over the world and there was nowhere else lovelier than the Texas Panhandle for their types of photos.

Of course, they might have been saying that to me because of where I lived and might have said that to anyone, no matter where they were, but I chose to believe them then and still believe it.

Great photos; have subscribed to this blog in my reader so I won't miss a single post!

I have to thank Chris from his Tornadical Action Blog for leading me to yours. You have an eye with that camera of yours. You must be using an 18 meg, or at least something close. The quality of your shots is absolutely stunning. Keep up the good work, you're definetly one of the best. I've always enjoyed the weather myself.
